      Mango butter has a high level of unsaponifiable fats and is also high in antioxidants which make it useful in skin care but because of it's high level of fats and emolliency it is also useful in hair care. With a typical melt point ranging from 86F-98.6F, Mango Butter is a solid at room temperature, but is softer in texture than shea and cocoa butter. Mango butter does not smell like mangoes since it is not extracted from the pulp of the fruit(the juicy stuff we love to make smoothies with!) but from the kernel of the fruit)

      *Please note this is NOT an unrefined mango butter, it does go through a mild physical refining process for purity prior to repackaging. It is however purely physical meaning no chemical solvents , no hexanes, etc are used during the extraction or purification process whatsoever (That's purity you can trust!)

      -NOCA helps establish and develop a competent inspection and certification system in organic farming, food and fiber. It operates under ISO Guide 65:1996, General Requirements for Bodies operating product certification systems and accredited by APEDA for carrying out the inspections and certifications according to NSOP (National Standards for Organic Production - India) which has gained equivalence with EC Commission Regulation 834/2007 and Swiss Ordinance on Organic Farming, USDA-NOP. It is also accredited by NABCB for its operations of the Organic Certification Scheme pa per India’s National Program for Organic Production.

  • Tips For Use

      Mango butter can be used directly in hair or skin or added to other butters and oils to create your own luscious hair and body creations!

  • Storage

      Store shea butter in a cool, dry place for up to 2 years without any demise to the butter. If mango Butter is melted upon arrival (it hapens in very warm weather) do not attempt to unpackage or open simply stick your butter in the freezer and allow to resolidifiy. Once it is solid remove and allow it to reach room temp. Then butter up! If your butter feels gritty this means it had melted and didn't cool again fast enough- again in summer months this does happen. It is purely cosmetic. Simply melt the butter by submersing the entire tub in a bowl of very warm water OR over extrememly low heat (double boiler is better). Allow to cool slightly then put back in it's original packaging (if it's a tub) or in some other freezer safe container- DO NOT COVER- and follow the steps above.

      Mango Butter can also be kept in its original packaging and frozen for aproximately 5 years
